If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, through ROTC there are two options. FIrst, there is the National Scholarship. This is avialable to high school seniors by applying at www.goarmy.com/rotc/.This scholarshipis available to students applying to NDSU/MSUM/or concordia.
The second option is a campus bases scholarship for NDSU/MSUM/Concordia. These are 2, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2,and 4 year scholarships. Below you will find all of the forms required to start your application process into the Tri-college Army ROTC program for campused based applicates. For your convenience, we have provided examples. Also, be sure to check out the "About Us" link at the top of the page for more information regarding what the ROTC program can offer you.
Applicates Criteria
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be between the ages of 17 and 26
- Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
- Meet physical standards
- Certain law enforcement vilations can be disqualifing
- Must be able to pass a medical screening
- Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard)
Application Forms
Be sure to have everything on the following checklist completed prior to meeting with your recruiter.Please fill out the following four forms (Form 139, Academic Planner, Language Sheet, and Scholar Athlete Leader) and e-mail them, or drop them off at the office to Major Ronald Joyce at ronald.joyce@ndsu.edu for review. The rest of the forms should be printed and filled out, but NOT signed, prior to meeting with your recruiter.
Cadet Enrollment Record - Verify eligibility to participate in the ROTC program. Provided below are the FICE codes for each of the three participating institutions involved with the NDSU ROTC program. Be sure to fill out only the first two pages, and leave the last four to be filled out by our HRA in a meeting with you.

In order to complete section 7 of this form, it is suggested you go to the College Department Website that pertains to your major and/or meet with your academic advisor.
Add any languages that you can read, write, or speak. These skills can qualify you for additional pay.

Add any leadership positions you have had, as they help us evaluate your leadership experience and provide a base to build from.
